Getting Started Guide: BidInformationService Overview

BidInformationService provides operations to help you make decisions about keyword bids. It can be used to get the information on bids for both the web Sponsored Search and Mobile Sponsored Search applications.

About Keyword Bids

BidInformationService returns a real-time snapshot of the highest and lowest keyword bids required for an ad to appear in the premier range. You can use the results to manually adjust the values of your keyword bids.

Premier range is defined as the top three to five positions on the north or east rail of Yahoo!, depending on the particular keyword marketplace. The top position is referred to as Rank 1.
